Local Pack

Local Pack
noun
A set of business listings inside of standard Google search results often in groups of 3, but sometimes in groups of 2 businesses that match a users search query. These results are pulled from Google Maps and are obtained by creating a Google My Business listing. Most frequently these appear as the top result for a query, but may appear at the number 2 position, at the very bottom of page 1 of Google, or more rarely they can appear anywhere else on page 1.

“Our business is number 5 in the local rankings for our top keyword, we’re only 2 positions away from appearing in the local pack.”
